Sunday Series II –
The Book of Acts: Speeches and Letters

In this class we will probe the personalities of key characters in the book of Acts (Peter, Paul, Stephen, James…) through their own words. Along the way we will learn much about the development of the Early Church through the lives of those who were there and experienced God’s new work first hand in the years immediately following the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Marty Abegg has retired from the Ben Zion Professor of Dead Sea Scroll Studies and director of the Graduate Program in Biblical Studies at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC. He has published many books on the Dead Sea Scrolls between 1999 and 2009. Marty resides in Abbotsford, BC with his wife Susan. They have two adult daughters.
