Dr. Peter Flint
Peter W. Flint (Ph.D., 1993 University of Notre Dame, USA) holds the Canada Research Chair and is Co-Director of the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute at Trinity Western University, British Columbia. Dr. Flint has edited over 25 Dead Sea Scrolls (including the Cave 4 Psalms scrolls and large Cave 1 Isaiah Scrolls), and has authored many books, including The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible (1999), and The Meaning of the Dead Sea Scrolls (2003). He is widely recognized as a public speaker, teacher and motivator, and often participates in public and academic meetings on the Dead Sea Scrolls and biblical topics in Canada, the USA, Europe, and Israel. Peter is married to Amanda and attends Saint Matthews.

Dr. David Rushton
David Rushton holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University and graduate degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia. He recently retired from a 37 year teaching career at Trinity Western University, where he is now a Professor Emeritus. David is currently director of music and conductor of the Gloria Dei Chorale. He studied worship in a graduate seminary course, has read widely and taught on the topic of worship. Throughout his career he has been active in worship leadership in a vareity of church settings. David and his wife Eleanor reside in Abbotsford and attend Saint Matthew’s. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
